Nightwing is no longer an action hero, he has devolved into a mouthpiece for therapy sessions。

Tom Taylor is currently one of the best writers at DC, but after the amazing first volume (and the highly flawed vol。 1,5), this one doesn't completely capture the momentum created by the first set。 I think editorial is really pulling the strings behinds the storytelling, and the pace feels so off at times。 Of course, it is also filled with lots of nice moments to enjoy the ride, but-- it could have been perfect! :-D Tom Taylor is currently one of the best writers at DC, but after the amazing first volume (and the highly flawed vol。 1,5), this one doesn't completely capture the momentum created by the first set。 I think editorial is really pulling the strings behinds the storytelling, and the pace feels so off at times。 Of course, it is also filled with lots of nice moments to enjoy the ride, but-- it could have been perfect! :-D 。。。more

This series continues to be an absolute joy to read。 One of the best capes and tights books being published。

Light-hearted superhero fun。It’s a bit sad to see the run being interrupted by events (Fear State) and crossovers (Superman: Son of Kal-el), but those were handled with care。 Also, the art is phenomenal and I’d argue the best at DC comics currently。 Despite the story being well done, I do want some progression as it’s narratively starting to spin its wheels。 Hopefully, the next volume provides some form of satisfaction and substance。 All in all, it’s a nice read that feels like a breath of fresh Light-hearted superhero fun。It’s a bit sad to see the run being interrupted by events (Fear State) and crossovers (Superman: Son of Kal-el), but those were handled with care。 Also, the art is phenomenal and I’d argue the best at DC comics currently。 Despite the story being well done, I do want some progression as it’s narratively starting to spin its wheels。 Hopefully, the next volume provides some form of satisfaction and substance。 All in all, it’s a nice read that feels like a breath of fresh air due to its lighter tone。 。。。more

We return to our regular scheduled programming after the Fear State interruption with Bruno Redondo。 Dick has a price on his head after publicly declaring he'd be giving billions to the less privileged of Bludhaven。 The first issue is all two page spreads with Dick jumping across them。 It really invoked David Aja's time on Hawkeye。 I loved it。 Then the Titans show up in the next issue and all I can say now is that I want to see Tom Taylor write a Titans book。 We return to our regular scheduled programming after the Fear State interruption with Bruno Redondo。 Dick has a price on his head after publicly declaring he'd be giving billions to the less privileged of Bludhaven。 The first issue is all two page spreads with Dick jumping across them。 It really invoked David Aja's time on Hawkeye。 I loved it。 Then the Titans show up in the next issue and all I can say now is that I want to see Tom Taylor write a Titans book。 。。。more
